Ben Scott was appointed to the AAA Limited Board in June 2020, having returned to Australia from New York City, after nineteen years abroad.

Ben served as a AAA Inc. Board Member in the USA from 2015-2019, during which time Ben chaired the AAA Development Committee and was a founding Co-Chair of the AAA Business Council.

In 2019, Ben completed a successful seventeen-year career at Morgan Stanley. His role as Senior Relationship Manager saw him manage a diverse portfolio of Morgan Stanley’s largest institutional clients. Prior to this Ben sat on the Global Prime Brokerage Executive Committee, the primary unit responsible for Morgan Stanley’s hedge fund business. Ben joined Morgan Stanley in 2003 in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for Asian derivatives and structured product sales and marketing.

Ben commenced his career in finance at Bankers Trust in Sydney, following which, he became Senior Vice President at Zurich Capital Markets, where he established and co-managed their Hong Kong operations.

Ben earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology. In addition, he was awarded a scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) for Rugby and was selected for the Australian Barbarians Rugby team. He also played for both the University of Queensland and University of Sydney’s rugby teams.

Born and raised on a merino stud and wheat farm at Muckadilla, Queensland, Ben now lives in Sydney with his wife and two sons.
