Giving Tuesday Now
As a non-profit organization, the American Australian Association is operating under significant financial strain and we urgently need your help, beginning with Global Day of Action (May 5) #GivingTuesdayNow.
After stepping up and supporting the Australian bushfire crisis by redirecting much needed fundraising from our own Arts Awards and Boston Dinners, and compounded by the cancellation of our ANZAC Day and Veterans’ Lunch, our ability to continue to fund and deliver our programs and scholarships is at risk.
Since New York PAUSE went into effect, the Association team has been working hard to continue to deliver an adjusted program of weekly webinars, videos and online offerings related to COVID-19, as well as relevant updates on immigration, consular and business/economic activity in support of the Australian and American communities. We intend to continue these programs through the pandemic and encourage you to participate where possible.
As a charity, the Association has a long and impressive record of stepping up and helping when others are in crisis. Now we are counting on you, our valued members, friends and supporters to help us if you can. Now, more than ever, we need you! Your generosity and support at this critical time will allow us to continue to fulfil our mission to deepen and strengthen the American-Australian alliance through our business, education, veterans and arts programs and by providing educational scholarships and grants to support the next generation of Americans and Australians.
The American Australian Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
