ANZAC DAY & VETERANS' LUNCH
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25, 2018

VETERANS' LUNCH | CIPRIANI WALL STREET

On April 25th, the AAA and ACG will jointly host an ANZAC Day commemorative service at Trinity Church, followed by an ANZAC Day and Veterans' Lunch at Cipriani Wall Street. The lunch will celebrate ANZAC Day, deepen the US-Australian defense alliance and raise funds in support of the American-Australian Veterans' Scholarship Fund.

DAME JOAN SUTHERLAND FUND RECIPIENT -  JAMES STUART

James is a 2016 AAA Dame Joan Sutherland Fund grant recipient pursuing a MFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He recently spoke to us about his work.

As part of his studies, James was recently named the winner of the CINE Golden Eagle award for best student documentary on his thesis project, Rail Fan.

SCHOLAR UPDATE - BRIDGET CALLAGHAN

Bridget is a 2016 AAA Sir Keith Murdoch scholar undertaking postdoctoral research in Developmental Psychobiology and Neuroscience at Columbia University. 

Bridget's research on the link between parent-adolescent relationships and adolescent mental health was recently published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Bridget was also awarded a Young Investigator K99/900 Pathway to Independence grant from the National Institutes of Mental Health.
