Did someone say heat wave?

It's been hot, hot, hot, in New York City - but - don't worry we have a quick remedy! Kick back in the air-con and read our newsletter before all of the 4th of July craziness sets in. July 5 - AWNY and Olsen Gruin present: ‘Arrkanala Lyilhitjika: The Joy of Singing’ – the Central Australian Aboriginal Women’s Choir in concert. Attend a 60 minute choral concert, followed by a Q&A. July 6 - Mums' & Dads' Drinks at Tavern On The Green. Catch-up with other Aussie parents and let loose... a little! Address: Tavern on the Green, Central Park West at 67th Street. Time: 6:30-10pm. Read more here, and RSVP here.

July 9 - New Members' Drinks. Do you want a community in New York City? Come and meet the ladies of the Australian Women in New York. Free entry. Address: The Australian, 20 West 38th Street, New York. Time: 6:30-8:30pm. RSVP to

July 20 - Rubin Museum Tour & Drinks. Join AWNY for a one hour guided tour of the Rubin Museum and drinks afterward. Address: Rubin Museum, 150 West 17th Street, New York. Time: 5pm start . Cost: $22 for members, $27 for non-members. Register here.

September 14 -  AWNY's MET Rooftop Summer Cocktails. Join us for one of our most anticipated events of the year. Who wouldn't want to watch the sun set over Central Park with views of Manhattan? Metropolitan Museum of Art, Cantor Roof Garden Bar, 1000 5th Avenue, New York. Time:  5.30-8pm. Keep your eye on our Facebook Page for updates.
