Craig Longhurst, co-founder Salon Ruggeri

After visiting New York in 2005, Sydneysiders Craig Longhurst and Gregorio Ruggeri decided they had to move. Over the next five years they established Salon Ruggeri into a successful hairdressing business with a loyal clientele in Sydney. In 2010, the duo moved to New York and set up Salon Ruggeri in a third floor walk-up with no clients, two chairs and one basin in Chelsea. The salon has been evolving ever since and recently moved into a Fifth Avenue space they designed themselves. No matter where they go, they take with them their philosophy of combining exceptional personalized service with chic interior design. Read more about their story.
