Since graduating from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with the Helen Myers Vocal Scholarship, Nicole has established herself as one of Australia’s leading entrepreneurs in the performing arts. She is currently based in New York.

Nicole has worked as an executive producer, producer, creative director, manager, performer and vocal coach.

She has produced many shows, concerts and events, including her Helpmann award winning Australian production of Dead Man Walking at The State Theatre (dir. Nigel Jamieson starring Teddy Tahu Rhodes), The Australian Tour of the Tallis Scholars 2007 (dir. Peter Phillips and sponsored by ABC Classic FM), the NSW Premier of Carmen The Musical at the Sydney Theatre (dir. Nigel Jamieson), The Brandenburg Orchestra and Loreto Combined Gala Concert, The Royal Flying Doctor’s Concert 2006 at Angel Place, the critically acclaimed 2006 A Mid-Summer Opera featuring the world premier of Love’s Lessons Learned (Sussman/Dickinson), A Mid-Summer Opera Again by Demand (Angle Place City Recital Hall) A Mid-Winter Recital 2005, A Mid-Summer Opera 2005, Les Miserablés – The Schools Edition (dir. Kate Gaul), Girls of the Night, Vox and Vintage hosted by Stuart Maunder, the first Australian International Residential Tallis Scholars Summer School lead by Director, Peter Phillips, at St Johns College, The University of Sydney and various other concerts and large scale events such as the recent Puffin Magic Foundation Ball at the Westin Sydney. She has also worked for some of Australia’s largest music/entertainment organizations, including Opera Australia, Disney, Andrew McManus Presents, the Federal Office of the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board), Supersonic (Australian Film Composers), the National Office of DMX Music, Sculpture by the Sea, and with the head of Actors’ Agents at RGM (Robyn Gardiner) Associates. 

Nicole is one of the most sought after vocal teachers/coaches in Australia and now, New York. She has worked exclusively with The Sydney Theatre Company, Belvoir Street (Company B) and NIDA as vocal and musical coach on several major productions including Gallipoli (dir. Nigel Jamieson), John Doyle’s The Pig Iron People (dir. Craig Ilott), The Man from Mukinupin (dir. Wesley Enoch) and also for Disney’s The Lion King (children vocal auditions). She was recently featured on an episode of Australian Idol as a vocal coach. Her private students consistently achieve outstanding results and dominate major vocal competitions.

2007 saw Nicole expand into the Film and TV genre as the Artistic & Musical Director and creator of the teenage opera group, Tempus (now ARYA). She directed the group in various television appearances including Australian Idol Grand Final 2007, various national news segments and the 2008 World Youth Day Opening Concert. Late last year the group toured with Wendy Matthews and Ian Moss and also appeared on the Channel 7’s Carols in the Domain hosted by Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden. The group have performed with Guy Sebastian, The Divinyls and exclusively at events for MYER, Lady Fairfax OAM, RCP, The Flora Foundation Australia and Cobbety.

Nicole has produced or organized entertainment for many of Australia’s largest events, entities and charity organizations including MYER, Credit Suisse, Homebake, Out There Productions, The Oasis Ball, Ars Musica Fundraising Dinner, The Sydney Swans Annual Fundraising Dinner, The Canteen Charity Ball, The Caravaggio Art Exhibition - NSW Art Gallery, The Sydney 2000 Paralympics Opening Dinner and many more. She recently produced the inaugural Puffin Magic Foundation Ball at the Sydney Westin, the largest sit down black tie event the venue has hosted. In 2005 Nicole managed the additional vocal artists for the Anthony Warlow/Leslie Garrett Magic of the Music concert series. She also performed with and managed the featured vocal artists for the Australia/New Zealand Russell Watson Amore Musica Tour.

Nicole is an accomplished mezzo soprano encompassing a broad range of vocal styles and genres including jazz, opera, classical, pop, folk and rock. She has performed in many recitals, concerts and events both in Australia and abroad. Although Nicole is often still engaged to perform, she prefers to concentrate most of her energy on creative producing and musical coaching.
