Benjamin Lowy is a theatre producer, investor, and co-founder of The Lowy Salpeter Company. With experience working with top theatrical producers, writers, and directors, Benjamin serves as LSC’s artistic director, curating a diverse body of work for stages worldwide. In 2017, LSC is developing and commissioning a number of new properties while co-producing a handful of Broadway and West End shows including SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

Benjamin co-produced the 60th Anniversary production of MY FAIR LADY in Australia, directed by Julie Andrews, which was the highest grossing show in Sydney Opera House history.

In 2016 (its inaugural year), LSC was represented on Broadway by the hit revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS as well as other productions that garnered a total of four Tony Awards. 2016 also saw HADESTOWN, Rachel Chavkin and Anaïs Mitchell's off-Broadway smash (New York Times critics' pick).

Benjamin is also producing the new documentary RABBI from award winning director Sandi DuBowski. The film, 11 years in the making, follows the spiritual journey of Amichai Lau-Lavie as he embraces the ancient role of rabbi on his own terms.
RABBI shows how religion can be a powerful force for global human rights and social justice.

In addition to his work in production, Benjamin is an investor and advisor to TodayTix, a ticketing app which offers heavily discounted tickets to theatre around the world. 70% of TodayTix users are millennials, and the app is creating a new generation of theatregoers by easing access to expensive theatre tickets.

Benjamin Lowy is a graduate of the New School’s drama program with a major in theatre and history. He previously worked at the Old Vic Theatre (London) and The Geffen Playhouse (Los Angeles) and as an assistant company manager on the Broadway show A TIME TO KILL. Benjamin is a member of the young patrons program at Lincoln Center, a young partner of the Public Theatre and a leader of the Tectonic Theatre Project’s artistic director’s circle.
