About the American-Australian Arts Fund
Recognizing the energizing effect of new environments, international collaborations and educational opportunities, the AAA established in 1998 the Dame Joan Sutherland Fund, now the American-Australian Arts Fund. This cross-cultural exchange program provides grants to support emerging or early career Australian and American artists who show promise in the fields of theater, fashion, dance, film & television, music, literary arts, visual arts, craft and design.
Our vision is to significantly grow and expand the American-Australian Arts Fund by doubling our program commitment each year for the next four years, to reach a target goal of $1 million in 2021, helping to nourish the artistic and cultural landscape of both countries. |
