Breaking News on the Benefit Dinner 2008

In recognition of our 60th Anniversary Benefit Dinner, Mayor Bloomberg will proclaim November 12, 2008, in honor of the Association. The Association is pleased to announce that Director Baz Luhrmann, Nicole Kidman, and Hugh Jackman from the upcoming movie “Australia" will be among our special guests. In addition to many dignitaries and special guests, many business leaders of New York’s financial community and major corporations have already agreed to be Dinner Chairs, including Lead Benefactor John Hess, Chairman & CEO of Hess Corporation, and Platinum Dinner Chair Kevin Sharer, CEO of Amgen Inc. Education News

The Association will host its first education reception on July 17th. The event will be held at the Pratt Residence at the Sherry-Netherland Hotel overlooking Central Park. The night will feature current and former Education Fund Fellows presenting highlights of their latest research, followed by a cocktail reception. More>>
