FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT 101

Australian Women in New York invite you to take the first steps towards financial independence by joining us on Thursday 26 February for a workshop on Financial Empowerment 101. Financial Empowerment 101, lead by AWNY Chairperson and wealth management specialist Shannon Marshall, will cover a high level introduction to personal financial basics, including budgeting, saving for retirement, buying real-estate and investing. We will also be addressing some of the financial questions and concerns you may have in relation to living in the US and providing you with practical tools to help you navigate your personal finances.

 

When: Thursday 26 February 2015, 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Where: Australian Consulate General,
150 East 42nd Street, 34th Floor, Monash Room, New York.

of the Chrysler Building and Grand Central Station.

ABOUT SHANNON MARSHALL

  Shannon Marshall is a Vice President and Investment Specialist for the J.P. Morgan Private Bank. She is responsible for developing and managing relationships with affluent clients and their families, addressing their investment, banking and planning needs. She works closely with her clients and their external advisors to provide thoughtful investment and wealth management solutions within the context of each client's overall objectives, including retirement, estate planning, philanthropic needs. 
 
Prior to J.P. Morgan, Ms. Marshall worked as a Private Wealth Advisor at Bernstein Global Wealth Management Group based in New York City, providing financial planning, investment and wealth management solutions to clients. Originally from Australia, Ms. Marshall previously worked extensively in the international wine industry.
