We are thrilled to announce that The Right Honorable John Howard, OM AC, the 25th Prime Minister of Australia,will be introducing honoree Jamie Dimon, Chairman & CEO, JPMorgan Chase & Co. at this year’s Benefit Dinner.

Every year, the Association holds a Benefit Dinner to recognize important American-Australian business relations and to celebrate the scholars of its Education Fund. Proceeds from the Benefit Dinner go towards building the Association’s Education Fund.

The American Australian Association has had the honor of hosting every Australian Prime Minister since its establishment in 1948, and this week we were delighted to continue the fine tradition, hosting a Reception and Private Dinner for The Hon Malcolm Turnbull and Ms. Lucy Hughes Turnbull on Sunday, 18 September 2016 in New York.

Amongst the special guests attending the dinner, were the Hon. Julie Bishop MP, Minister for Foreign Affairs; the Hon Peter Dutton MP, Minister for Immigration & Border Protection, the Hon Joe Hockey, Australian Ambassador to the United States of America and other government dignitaries.Read more.

2016 USA to AUS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM OPEN

The American Australian Association is now accepting applications for the 2016 USA to Australia Fellowship program, which grants awards up to $40,000. American post-graduate and doctoral candidates in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and medicine are encouraged to apply. Further details are available on our website.
