Victorian Premier in New York

The Premier of Victoria, The Hon Daniel Andrews, MP, visited New York at the end of last month as part of an official visit to the United States.

On May 31, he made a lunchtime address to members of New York's financial community about his Government's infrastructure agenda. With numerous American Australian Association members in attendance, the Premier outlined how the Victorian Government is investing in productivity-enhancing infrastructure to enable the state to take full advantage of its growth potential.

The Premier outlined capital projects in 2016-17 worth more than $20 billion, including the Metro Tunnel and Western Distributor contracts that are out to market and will create a combined 10,000 jobs.

Victoria’s infrastructure program presents attractive opportunities for private sector investment. To discuss, please contact Deborah Komesaroff at the Victorian Government Business Office in New York, Tel: +1-212-573-0956.
