Education Update: Australia to USA Fellowship

The American Australian Association’s Board of Directors has approved selection of the 2015 Australia to USA Fellows. Following a vigorous four step selection process, 14 Australian researchers in fields such as medicine, technology and sustainability were selected out of the 100+ applications received this year. Details of the Fellows will be announced in the coming weeks.

Applications close Thursday, October 15, 2015
The Association is now accepting applications for the 2015 USA to Australia Fellowships. The Fellowships offer up to $30,000-$40,000 to American citizens and permanent residents undertaking post graduate studies in Australia across various research fields. Read more.

Benefit Dinner

Featured Dame Joan Sutherland Fund recipient Morgan Balfour, classical singer

Morgan Balfour is an emerging Australian classical singer. Morgan was awarded a grant from the Dame Joan Sutherland Fund to undertake a fellowship at the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. Since completing the fellowship in July, Morgan is now preparing for several concerts and competitions including the finals of the Dame Joan Sutherland and Richard Bonynge Bel Canto Award and the Opera Foundation for Young Australians Lady Fairfax New York Scholarship. Read more.
