Ernst & Young 6-Feb-12 |
Growing from its inception in 2004, Australia Week is now arguably the largest foreign country promotion held annually in the United States showcasing all things Australian.
In January 2009, the Australia Week Committee presented another exciting program of events in Los Angeles, San Franisco and New York - showcasing the very best of Australian culture, fashion, food, wine, tourism and business.
This program of events highlighted Australia's vitality as a place to visit, and a place to do business in the 21st Century.
The key objective is to demonstrate that Australia is an innovative, sophisticated economy, with leading edge research and technology in products, goods and services. In short, the overall goal is to raise Australia’s commercial and cultural profile in America.
The strategy is to create a series of concentrated events that are uniquely Australian so as to generate media profile and immerse the audience in relevant messaging as well as deliver commercial results for business, trade, investment and tourism.
The philosophy is in securing sponsorship and partners to combine resources and talents that advance the agenda for the mutual benefit of all invested parties.
