2015's Winery of the Year, Hentley Farm Wines is the creation of Keith and Alison Hentschke and based in the Seppeltsfield area of the Barossa Valley. Specializing in premium quality single-estate and single block wines solely from their own vineyard, Keith believes careful vineyard selection is the key to producing high quality wines.

For Hentley, it's all about listening to the land and planting the right vines in the right place, in the right way. The Hentschke family has had a long association with the Barossa Valley, first settling there in 1842.

Andrew has travelled and worked around much of the Northern hemisphere, starting in California with ultra premium Sonoma producer St Francis winery, then working under renowned Merlot and Zinfandel winemaker Tom Mackey, and finally moving on to the old world in a role with Bordeaux based negociant, Jacques Lurton.

Andrew returned to Australia with one question in mind… ‘Which region most suits my winemaking style and passion for wine?’  The answer was simple – the mighty Barossa, where big, bold reds are the signature, and complex, textural whites a discovery.

Eveleigh has embraced the original identity of the historic structure it inhabits: an intimate and unpretentious residence on an orchard, built in 1923.

Nick Mathers and Nick Hatsatouris, with Executive Chef Jared Levy have created 'home' on Sunset Boulevard.
The food philosophy: allow the food to speak for itself, inspired by the freshness of California cuisine, with strong undertones of rustic, southern European traditions. Eveleigh hopes to encourage the spirit of conviviality by celebrating the fundamental relationships between food, culture, community and agriculture.
