Registrations roll in for investment forum 

More than 140 industry leaders have signed up so far for next month’s New Zealand-Australia Investment Forum.

NZTE’s Director of Investment New Zealand, Graham Matthews, said the numbers registering reflected the quality line-up of speakers and the efforts NZTE staff were making to alert contacts to the event.

“A lot of the delegates are from New Zealand companies, of course, which shows there is plenty of interest in the topics being covered. There are also New Zealand-based representatives from multi-national companies and investment institutions, which is great.”

Mr Matthews said there was also interest from international business people and investors, with a diverse range of senior delegates confirmed from around the world.

“We will be continuing to promote the forum to our contacts overseas. The type of New Zealand delegates now on board means there will be real value for international investors and businesses to come to this event.

“The international executives that do attend are going to be first in line as new opportunities present themselves in Australasia,” he said.

The New Zealand-Australia Investment Forum is being held in Auckland from March 10-11. Registrations are being accepted at www.investmentnz.govt.nz/investmentforum
