Australian company launch at this year's Head of the Charles

Boston, MA (October 14/15/16/17/18), 2009 - One of the exhibitors at this year’s Rowing and Fitness Expo has travelled a long way to be here this weekend. Australian company, Space Saver Rowing Systems has made the journey from their home town in Canberra, Australia to officially launch their range of innovative rowing storage equipment. Managing Director, Douglas Lumsden said, “We couldn’t have picked a better regatta to launch our products here in the US with the history of the race and the numbers of competitors and people it draws from all over the world.”

Douglas, a rower himself, is the inventor of the products. “Given the real estate rowing sheds usually occupy it is often difficult for a shed to expand and upgrade. Yet we can take a rowing shed and maximise its current footprint tailoring the needs of each shed with our range of equipment. We give clubs room to grow as well as increased security and safety for both rowers and boats. Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, a regular competitor at the Charles, has already discovered what so many clubs in Australia have discovered - our products really do make a difference."

If you would like to discuss the needs of your rowing club, Douglas and his wife, Ingrid would love to say ‘g’day’ and share a little bit of Aussie hospitality to all who come and visit them at the Rowing and Fitness Expo. You can also find more information on the Space Saver Rowing Systems website at www.ssrs.net.au.
