Fabulous Spring Evening at the Rainbow Room 

 

On Thursday, May 7th, 2009 over 160 guests gathered at the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center in New York  to enjoy a night of music, networking and dancing.

The event was particularly a night for guests to enjoy themselves in the surroundings of the Rainbow Room as the room is closing for an uncertain period of time. It was one of Cipriani's last events in the space and guests enjoyed their catering which included passed hors d’oeuvres, buffets of pasta and antipasto and carving stations of succulent lamb.

The evening was sponsored by Invest Victoria and the newly appointed Director of the Americas, Victor Perton flew in from his office in San Francisco to join in the nights festivities.

There were great raffle prizes to be won including airfares to New York to Melbourne, lunch at The Australian, a 3L magnum of red wine and a limited edition print of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Congratulations to our winners on the night and many thanks out raffle sponsors – Qantas, The Australian, Wine Australia and Paintings by Danielle Hatherley.
