Australian media personality Derryn Hinch has spent the past 50 years in the media spotlight - print, radio and TV. He has authored over 10 books - his newest 'Human Headlines: My 50 Years in the Media' has just been released. Derryn's career which has seen both highs and lows over the years has spanned momentous events and people in living memory. He has a unique, opinionated and often controversial view of history.
In 2010 Derryn was diagnosed with liver cancer and given 12 months to live. In Sept 2011, he received a life saving liver transplant. Two weeks later he was placed under house arrest for breaching supression orders and naming two child sex offenders at a public rally. This is his story...
