The American Australian Association launched its Education Fund in 2002 and is currently funded largely through monies raised at our Annual Benefit Dinners and through key direct corporate sponsorships. The Education Fund was established to support post-graduate study and research between Australia and the United States and is the largest source of privately funded educational Fellowships between the two countries.
The American Australian Association awards fellowships of up to US$30,000 each year to Australians and Americans for advanced research and study in the United States and Australia respectively. The Fellowships build on existing strong social and economic partnerships and foster intellectual exchange between the United States and Australia.
