Simon Tedeschi

Described by pianist Leslie Howard as one of the finest musicians of his generation worldwide, Simon Tedeschi was named the Symphony Australia Young Performer of the Year In 1998 performing Ginastera's Piano Concerto No 1 with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Jun Maerkl at the Melbourne Concert Hall. He was the recipient of a Queen's Trust Overseas Study Award of $10,000, also presented at the Young Performers Awards in Melbourne. More>>

 

Megan Roodenrys

Megan Roodenrys is a third generation visual artist. Megan’s mother, Bronwen Mills, has been a professional artist for over 30 years and Bronwen’s mother, Lorraine Holmes, was a talented artist whom was awarded an OAM for her services to art in Australia. Megan was born in Canberra in 1968 and received her Bachelor of Visual Art from the University of South Australia in 1997. Megan has been exhibiting professionally for almost five years now and is tagged by those in the art industry as an artist whose work continues to evolve and excite. In what is a relatively short period of time in visual art terms, Megan already has a band of collectors of her work in Australia. More>>

Brendan Moffitt is an Australian born, New York based Stage Director.
Brendan graduated from NIDA's Graduate Diploma of Dramatic Art - Directing Course in May of 2004, and since that time has worked as both a Stage Director and as an Assistant Stage Director at San Francisco Opera Center (Merola Opera Program, 2005) where he directed the Merola Grand Finale at the War Memorial Opera House. Cabaret Artist Kim Smith has received the American Australian Association's support through the Dame Joan Sutherland Fund in February 2008 to assist in his undertaking a series of lessons and workshops from distinct cabaret instructor and historian Karen Kohler. In addition, Mr. Smith will present a showcase of his work with Ms. Kohler in February of 2008, at New York’s Don’t Tell Mama cabaret theatre. More>>

In July 2009, Micaela will feature in an acting role in Opera Australia’s Manon Lescaut at the Sydney Opera House before returning to New York in August to commence her second academic year at AADA.
