Initiated in 2003, the American Australian Association California Business Awards pay tribute to outstanding organizations whose achievements and contributions markedly strengthen business and commercial ties between Australia, New Zealand and the United States. The AAA Business Awards are held in Los Angeles each year. Previous honorees include: Westfield Corporation (2003), Warner Bros (2003), Fox Entertainment Group (2004), Foster’s Wine Estates (2006), Fisher & Paykel Appliances (2006), Macquarie Group (2007) and Les Mills International (2007).

California Benefit Dinner
Los Angeles

The California Benefit Dinner honors prominent individuals who have furthered US/Australian relations and helps support the educational and cultural activities of the American Australian Association. On September 30, 2005, AAA patrons Rupert Murdoch AC, News Corporation, and Mel Gibson, Icon Productions, hosted the first California Benefit Dinner at the residence of the Australian Consul-General.
